Location Description

The City of Florence is the eighth-largest city in Kentucky and is primarily in Boone County, the 71st most rapidly growing county in the country. Located just 10 miles south of downtown Cincinnati, Florence had a population of 29,951 residents as of the 2010 census. This represented a 27.2% increase since 2000 and continued a trend of double-digit population growth every decade since 1930.This tremendous growth can be partially attributed to its proximity to most major modes of transportation, including I-71, I-75, I-275, the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and the Ohio River.
